| I guess it would be safe to say I have a rear diff seal out ? Oddly enough, I only had to add very little fluid. Maybe a quarter cup. I did pull the vent line off and blow through it. I think it may have been stopped up. | |

| Hold on now, you sure that isn't just brake pad grease? They slather that stuff on to keep the brake rotor from rusting. | |

| As fast as I am going through rear brake pads, I should just leave it. We could call it an oiler mod !! HAHA | |

| When you pull the rear diff back, after you unbolt it, the drive shaft slides out. There's a little button inside the drive shaft that slides out usually. It's plastic. Make sure you grab it. Nut inside where the drive shaft slides together. Unscrew and pull off and pop seal out. I'd change them all. Cause usually when you change one, the others leak about a week later. | |

| Well crap ! Guess what I found while I have it all tore down. This is not mine, but is identical. Pic found on southernsxsriders.com. Apparently this is a very common problem. Good thing is, the guy who's pic I used, had a very strong repair that I think I can do. | |

| Add a rear diff support while your fixing it.the upper bolts work their way loose and end up cracking the stock supports, good to keep a check on when u are doing maintenance on it.good thing u found it before it messed up your diff!! | |
