| Any body got pics of what they did to protect the floor pan. I gotta do the right side on mine. I don't want to spend a 100$ bucks on a piece of metal or aluminum. I'd like to try and make something myself. I've been thinking about a 55 gal drum that's hd plastic stuff. It's thin, light and tough. Just wondering what others have done. | |

| Had a limb come through the floor on the old 450. It knocked my foot off the gas pedal, and if I had low tops on instead of boots, I would have went to the hospital. I need to do something with my 700 before that happens again. | |

I think the new 2014 whatever it is, should be standard with this protection, they sure have taken alot time designing it.

| I have those DG's listed above and I love them. They were easy to install and fit snug against the floorboard so my 26's still don't rub. I bought mine at my dealer for less than that auction though. | |

| This may be another application for UHMW. The tight bends may be tough though. I personally would like black better than the silver metals. When I get my hands on it, I plan on trying it everywhere, if it is as tough as they say it is. | |

| I agree completely, I love that stuff. I finally tore some of it up last week, I was in the creek and smacked a rock under the water that I didn't see on the front center skid plate and put about a 3" crack in mine. It was a dead straight on hit that actually stopped my Rhino in its tracks and jarred the crap out of me so I still have full faith in the stuff. | |

| I got some 16ga steel, I wonder how it would hold up as far as looks if I coated it in some kind of bedliner? I've been wanting to do it, but I'm afraid it will get all beat up and rust and look like shit. Guess I could touch it up with a spray can every few rides. I had something hit the floor so hard the other day that the whole rhino jerked. I was running about 40 and couldn't believe the floor didn't crack. | |

These don't look like they cover very well on the sides. With some aftermarket wheels with some offset you will be throwing rocks right at that uncovered spot.
