| ok every one who played in the mud in their rhino. i hit a few mud puddles in my rhino and i always had a concern of over heating. a few times mud covered my radiator. well as you can guess it is warm and some of the water in the mud dries off making it thicker mud or dried mud coating my radiator. any way, i believe that it will reduce flowing through the radiator removing the heat. as a result i am afraid that it will cause my engine to over heat. i have never had any over heating issues with my rhino. it is completely bone stock. so i often rinse it off with water first chance i get. has any one had this problem running through the mud? or is it no big deal. thank you in advance!! | |

| JBS sells mud guards for your radiator and it can be a problem if it gets packed with mud. But a little wont hurt as long as you wash it out. | |

| absolutely it is an issue. for the rhino get a set of JBS shields. if you have friends with a RZR get a set of jetsxsproducts shields for it. | |

| I'd for sure get the sheilds. I would also look into a temp gauge , and a fan over-ride switch. | |

| Aluminum bright works very good at getting all the mud out without having to presure wash it. The JBS Shields work good also. But in my 05 that I run in the deep mud most of the time the only solution is to mount it between the seats and roof, it never even gets hot while up there in clean air. | |

| Think the radiator shields are $35( not sure ). get a 20amp relay and a switch to use for a fan override. And keep it clean as much as possible. I noticed a difference with just my radiator shields. | |

| In addition to keeping the radiator clean, don't forget the oil cooler! | |

| Make yourself a wand for cleaning it. You want to be careful about using a pressure washer. You can bend the fins and restrict air flow. | |
