| I have a 09 700 just installed a alba 734 big bore.i have to hold my hand over the throttle body to make it start.Plus it turns over hard and kicks back.any ideas.my other mods are thanks mike Hot cam stage 2 K&n air filter exhaust end cap removed 25in mudlite tires hot rod sheeve msd charge | |

| Did you get the cam decompression mechanism installed properly. It can be a pain. | |

| yea decompression is working I installed the cam a year ago and it has worked fine.till i installed the big bore | |

| Well, then I might venture that your timing might be off by a tooth??? Mine cranks over easy, even with a low battery and a heathy 11:1 piston. | |

| I have had this same problem on my 660 since my new motor. Just thought the higher compression made it harder to start. Now it's lookin like I have problems? Help us out hear guys. | |

| when u put the decompression pin in the cam...the pin should go in when you move the weights out on the cam,when the cam is at rest with the fly weights installed the pin should stick out. | |

| Timing wont help if the decompression pin is installed wrong. | |

| go on you tube and search for: raptor 700 can install.... there is a part 1 and a part 2, it helped me.... hope you get it man. | |

| I have the same issue with mine. Cold starts it fires right off. Once it's at running temp, it spins about 5-10 seconds before it bearly fires off. And it did this before and after cam install. | |

| turns out the decompression pin was installed right. the spring was unhooked from the wieght so it was holding the pin in. fires right up now. | |
