| Got my stage 1 hot cam in today (not a mudbuster) its suposed to be a drop in cam no spring change after breaking in the cam the valve train seems to be ticking alittle more than it did with stock cam is this normal or should i set the vavles a bit tighter i went by hot cams specs. Thanks guys | |

| i also installed mine and seems to be a noticeable difference in how it sounds is that common? it seems to run fine but there a low constant wirling sound. i put on a 1000 km since the install | |

| not sure if u should hear a wirling sound mine was just more of a valve tick like a loose valve setting but my exhaust is loud so i cant hear the motor all that well | |

| mine ticks also. glad to hear im not the only one.
because of the tick ive been afraid to hammer on it since i bent a valve the last time I was wide open throttle.
I had valves too tight I think thats why I bent the valve but was not sure because of the ticking i had going on. | |

| I hammer the hell outa mine an no problems yet ive held it wide open for long periods of time an she held together so far an I don't think I have a rev limiter with the cdi box im running at least I haven't hit it yet:D | |

| i noticed i got a good gain in the low end has alot more low end grunt an take off power its a good cam if u dont want to tear it all down an change springs.im tearing my rhino down tuesday to do a 686 kit an have the head ported an stage 2 cam an spring installled if u want to buy a stage 1 ill sell u mine cheap it has about 100 miles on it | |

I did the stage 1, fuel controller, sheave and spring and is was more than just noticeable. then went to the reworked throttle body and it is amazing. low, off the line torque and pulls strong all the way up to mid 40 mph. flat out runs 54. of course I had james do all the work. | |

I know, I know. I keep thinking that i'm pretty lucky to be only 4 hours from JBS power.
