| You know guys, I've been reluctant about even responding on this subject, as I don't have a dog in this hunt anymore. But really, is it worth it??? Let Todd do what he does just like James does what he does...It's really about getting out and riding, having a adult-beverage or ten...(if you choose). Screw all this internet drama. I personally don't care if my POS will do 10mph.....but I WILL see ya at the top of the hill. Let it go... | |

| I do tend to agree with Whitey on this one. I wasnt around a whole lot for the drama and i know things were said that should not have been. And i also know that James makes a superior product....but lets not lower our selves to that level. James makes a great product no doubt. But lets not turn off the people that dont know either way by spewing hate back and forth. Just let them do their thing and the free market will eventually sort things out. | |

I agree with speaking up so that they know a better product is available...but not just yelling "F U HUNTERWORKS!" and just screaming like idiots about how big of an idiot they are. Inform them but keep it civil

| Could there be another factor contributing to this issue other than the inferior sheave? Clearly he has made a bad purchase decision, but is that his only mistake? | |

| nope it was the sheave for me, it was inspected by an expert sheave maker and the conclusion was the machining on the HW was the culprit. | |

| Never seen it on my 450. I don't even get on that sight anymore. Keeps me out out of trouble. I see this site getting bigger all the time so I think the truth is coming out from the performance of the sheave. It will speak for itself. I understand though if there is a lot of frustration on you end James. Nobody likes to be called a liar. | |

| I now would like to get hw sheave and try it. Yeah I'm baised, cause my JBS has been in for 4k miles, not 1 problem. Plus called James on install, he explained what I missed, and fixed it. But if I had money to burn, I'd try it. From stock any sheave would be an improvement, the other problems they say that shouldn't happen. No other motor mods, just Hotrods sheave. Haven't even checked it since install, performs the same yet. Argue every time why your sheave is better, no personal attacks though. Just why its better. Oh yeah, has anyone ever taken a JBS sheave off for a problem. Like it smoked the belt, burnt the rubber, wore on the case, performance sucked? I've never seen a single bad post from anyone. | |

Just to sate my curiousity, did you have any communications with Todd regarding the problem? If so, what did he have to say about it?

| it was years ago,it was not the communication like James provides. HW will never get another penny from me, but he said on the other site that he sold 40 last week so I gotta believe he is doing fine..lol | |

| Never ran a HW sheave and never will. There are no problems at all when running the hot rod sheave. No wierd noises, no premature belt wear, nothing. I have been around rhinos with the HW sheave, and heard all sorts of squeels and other noises. Sounded like belt rub or slipage...could have been just a worn belt, but I really don't care. James knows more about rhinos than anyone I know, and his stuff is top notch, so I could care less about what anyone else sells.
James has proven to me that he is the rhino king:king: so there is no need to deal with anyone else.

| Dipshit Todd always says he sold 40 last week or he is on a month back order or whatever he wants to say about his shitty craftsmanship. I almost bought one before I found James on the other forum. Todd was an ass then an I'm sure things haven't changed much in a year. I asked Todd what's up with a shim in the sheave in he said that's what separates his from the rest. I believe it now... Hunk of shit. Just my 2 cents though | |

| what a bunch of bullshit, am I the only one that gets pissed when an "AH" talks BS. I don't believe it Sheave sales through the roof!! Whoever you are buying our sheaves, thanks!! 66 of them sold last month!! It still remains one of our top sellers and continues to be on a waiting list. Again thanks!! ________________ Todd
Hunterworks was chosen by ATV Action magazine as a supplier for a Rhino project they were doing. The article comes out in the June edition of the magazine. Items from Hunterworks included the New Style Machined Sheave and custom mapping for the Power Commander V. Make sure you get a copy when it comes out!!
