The theory was the hot air would change the air temp sensor and make it run heck I can't remember rich or leaner, probably richer but I saw no change so I put it back and scratched that idea.
I won't argue it, if it works for you then do it, mine still runs like a scalded dog and bangs off rev limiter at 65 not sure what else it can do.
Now if you are having the oil in airbox issue then sure __________________ Todd

| That 65 banging off the rev limit must be while it's setting on the dyno. I wonder what people think when they buy that shit and theirs don't even come close? | |

| Same here! I've got similar setup as you slomo, heavy cage, big tires, and putting in the 14s ODs and sheave turned my ol 660 into a new machine. There were times when I wouldn't even want to ride in the snow, now with the sheave and od's, no prob. | |

| My favorite is Todd's rhino with cam, cdi, and sheave that does 65 banging off the rev limiter. To read that BS and not knowing any better, I would expect a rhino with said mods to hit 65 really quick and hit the rev limit at 65 like a stock 700 hits 41. Maybe it's just me, but I think that "banging of the rev limit at 65" sounds like it gets there easily. WHAT BULLSHIT! | |

I dont know what the mans deal is. Another guy posted about having problems w/muzzy's...I put that the inlets on mine were broken. I think they're breakin ( and so does James) cuz the cans are ridgid mounted...they need to be in rubber , like the alba set up. Todd says the header pipes have enough flex in them to keep from breakin ?!?!? wtf I think he just likes to argue
