| I prefer both!! If you got a little bit of time and creativity you can do what I did and create your own folding windshield. I used lexan, riveted piano hinge and a piece of 90 degree aluminum on top to give it weight. I can bungee it down and use a few pieces of pipe insulation to protect my hood when it is bungee'd down. Works great and cost was under $100. I used some rubberized metal straps and screws on the bottom and found the top rubber pieces on ebay for cheap from someone's broken windshield. I actually need to create a new one since it is scratched to hell from mud. I am going to go a little wider this time so it overlaps the cage a tad more. It makes it nice during the summer to flop it down and feel the breeze and not the heat. But it is also beneficial when I get caught in a T-storm to put it back up. It is also an added benefit come fall, winter, spring time to help keep me a little warmer. | |

| I'm going to do the 2 piece windshield also. I picked up a factory full windshield cheap and need cut it to fit my cage. So l just make 2 cuts and add a hinge. I might cut it right in the middle so iit folds back on itself | |

| i have both. the full one is nice for riding in rain , snow or really cold weather. the half is nice for warmer weather. both create a dust vortex in the cab during dusty rides more the full than the half. i once returned back to the truck 5 miles into a ride to remove my full due to the dust. that day i was better with nothing. my 1/2 i just got and am happy with it. it is 1/4" uv stabalized and shatter proof polycarbonate. i dont think 115 shipped for a tinted 1/2 is a bad price. and the rubber seal across the bottom is the best ive seen on any windshield. i got it from here http://sidebysideutvaccessories.com/yamaha_rhino_windshields | |

| I like having both. Full for cold or rain. Half for when its hot, but still keep the bugs and limbs out of Your face.
Unlike most people, I like having the half shield up top instead of on the bottom.

| I like yours pretty custom, the hardest part for me will be getting the line good to form with the body so it doesn't look like crap | |

| Half is real nice when ever it is not raining or really cold, full is nice when there is not alot of dust, but ventilated (Firefighter), and a dust shield fixes that. | |

| have the versa sheild and love being able to have no to full windshield in a minute or two. usually don't leave the top on though if I am going to be running half.
busted the top one not too long ago when I layed the rhino on its side for a nap, but got a new one made for 95 bucks.
but with the dust cover and mesh rear (which has proved to be super tough so far), when I have the full windshield on the dust doesn't boil around into the cab. but I did notice in powder sugar type dust a little comes up from the floor drains. lol

| I have a full windshield and I absolutely hate it. I'm going to cut it and create a folding. Not sure how you guys are riding in the rain with the full?? I can't see two feet in front of me with the shield on in the rain. | |

| i only run the bottom of mine raised up to shield my face from dirt and mud. it doesn't really help much with dust.
we ride at night down by the river alot and it fogs up.
anybody have a cure (other than a defogger) for fog?
