| I bought a jbs kit about 4 months ago and was having real good luck with it. Then I had a belt burn up. I tore into it and installed a new belt. Before putting it all back together I started it and let it idle for a bit. I could smell it getting hot so I killed it. Went to feeling around and the plate/sheave thing that runs on same shaft as clutch is hotter than hell. Does anyone have any clue what I need to do. Bare with me I'm a newbie!! I did regrease and clean the clutch. It seems to be in good shape and stay fairly cool when running its just the other plate. Thanks for advice.. | |

| not the cam plate. Its the sheave that's closest to the motor that the belt runs off of. Is it suppose to be geared to the shaft at all times or is it gonna move freely.. is there a washer or something I lost that's keeps it out on the gears so it spins same time as clutch and all. | |
