Belt question

hay guys, question for you. how often do you change your belt? i have a 07 with about 1200 miles on it and have not changed the belt on it. i have no issues at all with it. but i would hate to get out on a ride and be stranded in the middle of bunfunk and lose a belt. has any one burnt one?

I have about 4000 on my stock one, think i have to get a new one next season.

yamaha belts are the best..if a belt burns up on a rhino its cause mud has been in there and messed up the faces on the sheaves or hasnt been serviced regular...we change them every 2000 miles...a softer belt is easier on sheave faces
