| Just got back from a week of riding, was awesome! I'll post pics and vids later.
In the mean time, and I haven't torn it apart yet, but my Rhino really smells like gas. Like, enough that I think twice about smoking in it. It doesn't leak on the ground or anything, dry as a bone under there.
I'm going to look around the fuel pump and fuel line areas soon, but just was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. | |

| Maybe the carb vent hose or something else around the carb,maybe worse when its hot. Check your fuel tank unit,pipes maybe there is a hair line crack,good luck. | |

| Sometimes under extended riding,the rhino will build up a lot of heat in the engine compartment and the carb bowl gets very hot and it will spew gas out the over flow hose to release the pressure,when it does u will smell gas... | |

| I have owned my rhino for 5 years and have experienced this several times,mainly in hot weather,just make sure that your over flow hoses are pointed down towards the skids as low as they can be,so the gas can be spilled away from the heat of the engine. | |

| Another thing u can do is insulate the fuel hoses that run right by the cylinder head ''where there is a lot of heat'' and put some silver backed insulation between the carb bowl and the engine,insulate the carb as much as u can from the heat of the engine..the fuel injected models from 08 on don't have this problem...lucky us 07 and prior owners!! | |

| Sounds like great riding weather to me!! I love the colder weather!! my family on my dads side are French Canadian,i guess that's why I hate hot weather! they live in seattle and im stuck in n.c. | |

| I am originally from Victoria on the island,then lived in North Vancouver and when I lived there we visited Seattle regularly,Woodland park zoo,Space needle and the monorail were my favorites.I have lived in Ontario and Quebec it doesn't seam to matter where I go I find special places in every state or province.North America is the center of the world and have no desire to go anywhere else. | |

| Great area of the world to live in,i would love to visit Washington,canada,and of course Alaska...the last frontier!!when I retire im gonna move to the colder climate,just don't know where I will end up...just not florida....too damn hot for me!!! | |

| Washington,British Columbia,Alaska very nice,you should also think about Northern California and Oregon,try to drive the coast,check sand dunes,volcanos,sand beaches with nobody for miles,Olympic mountains and Cascades,Victoria and Vancouver island,Queen Charlotte,Hyda Guiy,Alaska. | |

| Check your fuel pickup, mine was cracked and it reeked with gas replaced it with a billet one. | |

| you also might want to check your float needle in the carb. I had a supermoto with that problem that would hang open and then flood the ENTIRE CYLINDER with fuel then start running it out of the tail pipe. To get it started you had to pull the plug and hit the starter thus launching raw fuel 20ft in the air and drenching you is gas. Yeah its every bit as fun as it sounds LOL. Anyway it could be that float needle hanging open just a bit (not as bad as mine was) and your smelling it through the exhaust | |
