| I am thinking about having a new custom full cage built and had a few questions. First off what wall thickness DOM tubing are you guys with full cages running, I assume it prettys thing so it doesn't weigh a ton. Next question is about head room, it seems to me like my factory cage is way too tall and I am thinking I am going to bring it down some and was wondering what height you other guys are running. I am planning on enclosing the rear and putting a seat back there for my daughter. | |

| .095 dom, lower it 3-4 inches. it will weigh about 100-120 lbs more than stock | |

| Aspendell nailed it, .095 DOM will be plenty strong for your needs. Mine is made of that material and brought down about 4 inches from stock. Where are you located? There are a couple companies out there making cages meeting this exact your exact description for rhino's and would save some money going with a pre-fabbed one. | |

| check out FU2 chassis, the guys I bought my cage from tried to copy theirs. i chose that design because I liked the radius look and I can still partially tilt my bed when I need to wrench on it. | |

| I saved a few of those pics to take and show my local fab shop. I am a little scared of a cage extension, I would hate for that to come apart if I rolled it over. The idea I have in my head now is to have two configurations. One stock for hunting/utility work and a second where I would take off the factory cage and bed and replace it with a full length cage and aluminum flat bed with a nice seat mounted back there. | |

| I agree, the Lonestar one is sweet, the only thing I would like to see on that one is some vertical support tubes in the middle of the windshield area. Structurally speaking though that thing is stout, tubes and gussets everywhere. | |

| Have seen so many people screw themselves trying to install those clamps seen above on their cage after it was built. Cut the portion of the cage off and BOINGG!! No longer lines up lol | |
