| when i close in my cab for winter it is pretty noisy , just wanted to see what everybody else does to quiet things down, a lot of the noise is the air intake thought about some type of snorkel,what do you guys thinl? | |

| 04 style is simply removing the factory snorkel that connects the air box to the engine cover. This allows for more air to the air box, thus more power ! Ther are a couple of options. 1. You can then close off the inlet on the engine cover. Make it a LOT quieter ! 2. You can do a rais tube. This is simply a vacuum hose attachment which has a bigger inside diameter than the factory snorkel. Uses factory engine cover inlet but allows for more air = more power

| I have mine 04 style and the inlet in the engine cover is blocked off. LOTS quieter. Not for running deep water though | |

| i have the rais tube, but you mean to remove the air box lid and cover the intake inside cab? | |

| Leave the lid on and just take the rais tube off. Then You can plug the vent hole on the engine cover | |

| Most likely. removing the factory tube allows more air in the intake. | |

| I really like 08Rhino450SE's option. not only does it help quiet down the Rhino but it also helps in the home, truck, camping and it even works in bed.lol | |
