Haha I forgot not everyone lives in the tundra. A fish house is also called an ice house. Anyways, its what I pull out onto the ice to fish out of in the winter. It has a full hydraulic frame so it drops down to the ice. I will post some pictures of it lowered when I get back home. Its luxury ice fishing. Toilet, shower, directv, etc.

It weighs 7,000 lbs with full propane tanks, water tank, my gear, ice auger, and generator in it. The truck is 8,000 lbs with me and a full tank of fuel. So with 4 guys, gear, etc. you are hitting the ice around 16,000 lbs. I will go out on a solid 18 inches and thats about as low as I go. Some guys would say 16 inches is enough, but I figure at 18 inches there will always be a 16 inch week spot. The first few times were a little nerve racking with that much weight but you get used to it. By the middle of the season this year we have 30 plus inches of ice so it doesn't even make any noise.
Here is a pic of the house dropped down to the ground.
Here are a few of the inside. Rubber floor is the only way to go...

Well MSRP on mine is about $28,000.00 That being said it was built as a demo so that it could be used to showcase everything that ice castle was capable of. So it has a lot of bells and whistles that people do not necessarily need. Like the electric raising bunk in the rear, the king dome on the roof, an extra 4 inches of spray foam on the floor, extra 12 inches of ceiling height, instead of being 21 ft to the Vee it is 24, etc. You could do a 21 ft hydro frame RV edition for right around 20 grand if you didn't go crazy on options. Their newest house is a 38 ft 5th wheel that is triple axle and weighs about 9,000 lbs.
