New Yamaha SXS coming June 11 2013??.

I talked to the local Yamaha rep a couple of weeks ago and he said the new sxs details will be released to the public on 6/11. I know my dealer left out today to head to the show. He wouldn't give up many details, all he would say is not a 4 seater and not a sport model.

all i can say is it would be nice if they came with something with a bigger engine. But i am by no means in the market for one because if they come with what you guys (and I) would like it will be the same or higher priced as the RZR and i can for sure tell you im not down with spending 20k on a toy to take it out in the woods and scratch it up and beat it down. Im much more comfortable doing that in my 5k (plus mods) machine and fixing it when i break something.

Haha, I wish I could say I wasn't in that crowd of spending $20k and taking it out and beating it up but I am up to over $18k and I drive the crap out of mine. If I hadn't have just walked in and looked at a Rhino and bought one on impulse and could go back and do it all over again I would buy a Maverick.

I know alot of you guys play with yours quite a bit. But mine does about equal work as play. I would like to have about a 800 cc engine just because i want it....but i cant say that the 660 i have has ever let me down either. really a 4 seater would be to big for most of the trails i ride and so would a wide long travel set up. The Rhino I have is really good for what i use it for...i just want some more power which is very attainable

Someone from the "board of directors" of Yamaha Costa Rica came by my shop last week and told me Yamaha is releasing like 12+ (I forget the exact number) new models for 2014. He didn't know if one is a SXS or not, but that's a lot of new crap coming out.
