been thinking about new seats and bases....help!

I'm cringing about actually thinking about doing this, but I'm thinking if I want to have the 1in lower seats bases and a suspension seat to go with it. Am I crazy? I priced what I think I might want out and     was my reaction when I saw what it was for the both. 

my question is is it worth it to have the seats a little lower and are the suspension seats that great? thought about finding razer seats and installing them but how do they fit with stock roll cage and height on the seats from stock? 

mostly was hoping to drop an inch to gain a little more clearance from my gun rack.
