Reverse gear upgrade

I need to get a reverse upgrade kit for my 08 700. How much? Where at? Best place? I guess I need a complete gasket kit too?

Just talked to James. He hooked me up with everything I need. Gaskets & all. Gonna be a big job. I will takes pics & post my progress. Wish me luck.

they are known for the snap ring popping out of the groove and let the gear slide down and you loose reverse...this one eliminates the clip..

Bad part is engine removal and splitting the cases just to fix it. Big bucks at dealer.

I drove mine home after reverse went out...about a 10 mile trip. I've been advised not to drive it anymore untill it's fixed. Makes sense that something bad could happen.

Along with the reverse gear upgrade if you already have the case split you might want to thank about doing the threw shaft also. There was something else James upgraded on mine when he built my 787 it was A plate of some kind I'm sure he can answer that for you better then me though just thangs to thank about when you are already in there and James can get everything for you that you need.

Kyle why you tearing it down again? No this is not an issue on the 660.
